Penkina, Bachour, Tarasova and Guichon will visit Romania in 2018

Icep Hotel School has programmed for 2018 few but exclusive classes with top level chefs that will carry their sessions out in the headquarters that the school has in Bucharest.

The first guest will be Ksenia Penkina, known as “The Queen of Glaze”, who in February will teach a maximum of 15 students her techniques in three intensive hands-on masterclasses entitled “Velvet & Mirror Glaze Mousse Cakes”; two of them in Bucharest and one in the center of Iasi (fully booked). During the classes, the Canadian will make Orange Hazelnut, Malina, Exotic Passion, and many other delicious cakes using only natural ingredients and made from scratch.

In March, a chef who hardly needs presentation will visit the school, Antonio Bachour. The Puerto Rican chef will hold a hands-on master class on Modern Desserts (March 23, 24 and 25) where he will make an exhibition of his innovative entremets, petit gateaux, cheesecake, chocolate bonbons, and verrines. And two days later, on March 27, for the less experienced pastry lovers and students, he will prepare his famous sweets step by step, explaining the techniques needed for each component of his recipes.

The roster of invited professionals does not end here. The Russian chef Nina Tarasova, with a French-inspired style, will teach the masterclass “Pastry is Magic” on May 21, 22 and 23, for pastry chefs and pastry lovers, and where she will develop no less than 16 recipes (macarons, marshmallow, praliné…). And from May 24 to 25, she will make a special Signature Recipe Collection of innovative recipes with plated desserts for professionals. Also scheduled is the participation during the month of October of Amaury Guichon, although specific themes and dates are still to be confirmed.
