Chantal Aubisse won the first prize at the Concours du Macaron Amateur, which took place on November 13 in Vannes. The Bergerac contestant, coached by François Granger, made an impression with her macaron “Autour d’un café ”, made with coffee and badiane disque de chocolat.

The second prize went to Myriam Monney, the contestant from Sallanches, with “Le Yusam” (sesame, yuzu, lime and lemon caviar) and the third went to Martin Nguyen, selected in Lyon, with a pistachio macaron, vanilla ganache, and heart of raspberry.

The 14 finalists, from France, Belgium, Italy, and Luxembourg, have been evaluated by a professional jury chaired by Jordi Bordas and made up of Mercotte, Pierre Mirgalet, Yann Duytsche, Emmanuel Ryon, Gilles Marchal, Yann Brys, Philippe Bernachon, Philippe Givre, and Adrien Blenet.
