Son of the acclaimed chocolatier Antoni Escribà, he owns the prestigious Escribà bakeries in Barcelona ( Christian is one of the prime examples of spectacle-pastry for great events, with a large exhibition hall in one of his two stores. He never says no to any order, no matter how impossible it may seem to be made. Exploding cakes, assemblies with countless brochettes of all sorts, candy rings on sale at the best stores in the world and many other things come out of the hands of this professional. He also collaborates with modern art museums and takes part in gastronomy congresses.
