There is no Christmas that Jérémie Runel does not innovate with some unique proposal. In 2018, he made a nod to origami, in 2019 he presented different ice cream versions of the Black Forest, and this year he has created a collection of ice cream bars, which are very popular among children, in an XXL version made to be shared. But in reality, under the apparent format of an ice cream chocolate, there is an original Christmas log hidden inside.
As usual, the ice cream maker has taken advantage of his pastry base training for this new launch. A range that is made up of four esquimaux: Madagascar, based on chocolate and walnut brownies, Madagascar vanilla ice cream, Madagascar dark chocolate ice cream, flowing vanilla caramel, dark chocolate glaze, and chocolate chips; Ardèche, based on soft chestnut sponge cake, Ardèche mountain yogurt ice cream, marron glacé, candied chestnut chips, blueberry jam, Ivoire chocolate glaze and almond chips; Alps, based on walnut and almond sponge cake, Alpine pear sorbet, Dauphiné walnut ice cream, liquid caramel, walnut chips, Dulcey chocolate glaze and caramelised almonds, and Sicily, based on pistachio sponge cake, toasted Sicilian pistachio ice cream, Sicilian mandarin sorbet, pistachio and fleur de sel praline, chocolate and pistachio glaze, and pistachio chips.
