Host always stands out for its extensive program of events, from demonstrations to workshops and seminars. In 2015 more than 400 activities were organized. In the 2017 edition, which will take place from 20 to 24 October at Fiera Milano, the programme of the events is to be just as full and diversified. Starting with Cake Designers World Championship and the World Trophy of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate in collaboration with FIPGC (Federazione Internazionale Pasticceria Gelateria Cioccolateria), the search for participants is already underway. In terms of coffee bars, representatives to be on hand include Scae – Specialty Coffee Association Europe, WCE – World Coffee Events – and ALTOGA – Associazione Lombarda Torrefattori, Importatori di Caffè e Grossisti Alimentari – and FIPE, Federazione Pubblici Esercizi.
But the fair is not just a business platform and championships. It is an opportunity to learn from key professionals in various industries, from award-winning baristas to star-awarded chefs and ice cream makers, chocolatiers, and pastry chefs who are setting trends.
At 18 months before the celebration of this event, more than 800 companies have already confirmed their participation, 40% of which are foreign from 38 countries worldwide. Sixteen pavilions are available for show use, two more as compared to the previous edition, to cover the entire ground floor of the exhibition center. As for the industries represented, 65% are dedicated to equipping bars and the coffee world.
The international fair is committed to once again demonstrate its international leadership in the vast world of “outside the home”, in the areas of Food Service Equipment – Bread-Pizza-Pasta; Coffee / Tea, Gelato / Pastry; Bars, Coffee Machines and Vending; as well as Furniture and Tableware.
