The sixth edition of the Relais Desserts Charles Proust has been convened

The sixth edition of the biennial Charles Proust competition of the Relais Desserts Association, will take place, as usual, at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris on October 28.

Young confectioners worldwide can register for this event before June 30th which will have as honorary president Jacques Bellanger, Charles Proust Competition Winner, MOF 1982 and member of the Relais Desserts Association.

The artistic theme will be “arts and crafts, a French heritage” and the tasting theme will be around entremets based on Guanaja milk and dark chocolate.

Candidates who have the highest number of points between the artistic and tasting panels combined will be awarded:

  • 1st: 2,500 euros + prizes + a trophy
  • 2nd: 850 euros + prizes
  • 3rd: 600 euros + prizes
  • An Artistic award will be given out: 750 euros + prizes
  • An award for Taste will be given out: 750 euros + prizes
  • A special Public’s Choice award will be given out: 750 euros + prizes
  • A special Press’s Choice award will be given out: 750 euros + prizes
