Europain 2020: new location, new dates

Europain will return in 2020 and will do so with many new features. The most outstanding being the change of location and dates.

February will no longer be the month dedicated to the Salon. The next edition will take place from January 11 to 14, since the organization considers that January, after Christmas and before Valentine’s Day and Easter, is a much more favorable time for professionals in the sector to make decisions and invest .

Regarding the change of scenery, a central and strategic location has been sought for regional and international visitors to discover in situ the new concepts of Parisian bakery. Europain will leave the Parc des Exposisitions in Villepinte to go within the walls of the city, in Hall 1 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

But these are not the only changes proposed by the fair. Aware that the profile of bakery-pastry investors has changed, Europain wants to be a business accelerator so it will propose new activities adapted to current and future entrepreneurs who wish to “start” and “create”, from personalized business meetings between visitors and suppliers to a more expert European forum to discuss all the economic and technical issues of the profession.
Among the activities planned for 2020, highlights the Bakery of the Future, a new immersive experience that will show the solutions that will revolutionize the sector soon; the Bakery and snacking area, installed in a real bakery, where a program of demonstrations and practical solutions will be offered to take advantage of new market opportunities, and the Sweet Creations area, in which well-known pastry chefs, chocolatiers, and ice cream makers will share recipes and appropriate techniques to current consumption habits. In terms of competitions, the World Bakery Cup and the Mondial des Arts Sucrés will have international bakery and pastry teams face off.
