Chococruise, a Mediterranean cruise dedicated to chocolate
Barry Callebaut and Costa Cruises join forces to offer sweet lovers a cruise dedicated to chocolate aboard the flagship Costa Toscana: Chococruise – Explore the World of Chocolate.
From November 17 to 24, ChocoCruise will sail a gastronomic itinerary around the Mediterranean, with port of call in Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona, Cagliari, Naples, and Civitavecchia/Rome. Costa Cruises Corporate Pastry Chef & Baker, Riccardo Bellaera, will be accompanied by five great pastry chefs, all of them members of the Chocolate Academy and Barry Callebaut ambassadors: Ramon Morató, Alberto Simionato, Philippe Bertrand, Joël Perriard, and Alexandre Bourdeaux.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste chocolate creations in all their variants and combinations, and attend workshops in the ship’s kitchen laboratory, accompanied by tastings of the chefs’ emblematic desserts, as well as show cooking. They will also be able to enjoy dishes related to the destination they will visit the following day, signed by one of the three Costa Cruises chef partners: Ángel León, Bruno Barbieri, and Hélène Darroz.
