Within the extensive program of activities at Sirha Lyon, to be held at Euroexpo from January 19 to 23, 2023, there will be the Bake & Pastry themed space, designed to acquire new knowledge about bread, fermentation, and doughs, as well as pastry.

For five days, attendees will also be able to discover an offer of 4,000 exhibitors and brands from thirty countries, hundreds of conferences, demonstrations, presentations, and competitions in a space measuring 140,000 m2. In addition, there will be another five themed zones to explore: Sirha Coffee, with the best baristas in France; Sirha Cuisine, an experimental and immersive restaurant concept; Sirha Design, meeting point for experts and architects for the development of design projects; Sirha Meat & Grill, dedicated to meat, and Sirha Métiers de Bouche, which will highlight the techniques and products of professionals in the sommelier, butchery, fishmongery, cheese making, and other restaurant and table trades.

The fair, which turns 40 in 2023 and is one of the world benchmarks in Food Service, hospitality and food, will host 15 regional and international competitions to find and reward the promises of the profession. One of the outstanding competitions will be the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, where the participating countries will compete under the theme “climate change” and in which Spain will not be present. Other notable competitions will be the Championnat Européen du Sucre d’Art where chefs will have to create an artistic sugar piece around Salvador Dalí, the International Catering Cup, which Spain won in 2011 and 2013, and the Bocuse d’Or , the world’s best-known culinary competition. Let’s not forget the presentation of the Sirha Innovation Awards in three categories: products, drinks and ingredients; materials and equipment, and technologies and services.
