Sirha and the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie change their dates
Due to the coronavirus, Sirha announces important changes for 2021. As Marie Odile Fondeur, general director of the fair, explains, “taking into account the times, especially in times of health crisis, is to think of a resilient, responsible Sirha, sanitary and ecological, more in tune with the evolution of society and consumer expectations ”.
As main novelties, Sirha modifies its usual date from January to the end of May and changes its name to Sirha Food, a large framework within which Sirha Lyon, Sirha Pastry World Cup (the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie), and Sirha Bocuse d’Or, in addition to other events such as Sirha Omnivore, Sirha Europain (formerly Europain), Sirha MADE, and Sirha Green.
From May 29 to June 2, 2021, those attending the fair will be able to enjoy interesting spaces such as Sirha Hub, an immersive area to prepare for the challenges of the future in the food service sector, Sirha Masters, an exceptional setting to promote trades related to catering and pastry, and Grand Prix Sirha Innovation, where exhibitors will showcase the best technologies and creations.
During the event, around twenty competitions will be held among which are outstanding international competitions such as the Bocuse d’Or and the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, which will take place on May 30 and 31 and has recently renewed its organizing committee to guide the competition towards a responsible pastry.
