A few months ago, Sigep announced that it would hold a blended edition in 2021. Now, due to how the pandemic is evolving and the fact that Italy is not allowing the celebration of fairs in this first quarter, neither face-to-face nor hybrid, it has changed its plans and announces a 100% digital event that will take place from March 15 to 17.
This virtual experience, called Sigep Exp The Digital Experience, will be dedicated to the foodservice of artisan sweets, especially international ones. Apart from company product news, the event will show a global vision of the market trends of the sectors represented in the Fair (ice cream, pastry, coffee, and artisan bakery). Not only that, it will also organize live craft workshops where elaboration techniques and ideas to update pastry, ice cream and bread creations will be revealed.
And as a prelude to its next face-to-face edition in January 2022 (from 22 to 26), the organizer IEG Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) prepares themed events from March to December.
