Internationality, competitions, and new distribution at Sigep 2024
The 45th edition of Sigep, which will take place from January 20 to 24, 2024 in Rimini, will be marked by internationality after the strategic opening in the Asian market with Sigep China and the launch of Sigep Asia in Singapore. This international scope will also take center stage in the Vision Plaza with talks on current global issues such as sustainable development, training, and technology.
In this edition, the 28 pavilions of the fair will have a new and functional distribution for buyers and operators. With more than 1,200 exhibiting brands that will occupy 129,000 m2, Sigep will promote new business and networking opportunities and provide detailed information on foreign markets. Likewise, it will present numerous new developments and consumer trends in ice cream, pastry, bakery, coffee, and chocolate.
The hall will once again be the setting for international championships such as the Junior Pastry World Cup, in which young people under 23 years of age from different countries will compete around the theme “Myths and Legends”, and the Italian Senior and Junior Pastry Championships, with the themes “Travel to the East” and “A sustainable future”, respectively. It will also host the tenth edition of the Ice Cream World Cup and the Young Ideas competition, aimed at baking talents from Italian hospitality schools and vocational training organizations.
