Thanks to the relaxation of restrictions and the new measures decided by the governments regarding fair structures, the 42nd edition of Host will be held in person from October 22 to 26 at Fiera Milano.

More than 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries have already confirmed their participation in the next call for the international benchmark fair for bakery and pastry, which promises to be even more complete with the simultaneous celebration of Tuttofood, a benchmark event in the agri-food ecosystem.

In its role as a trendsetting event, Host will pay special attention to safety and quality since, according to experts, consumers in the coming years will choose those restaurants, bars, bakeries, or pastry shops that give them confidence not only because of their products, but also due to the technologies they adopt to maintain their establishments as safe spaces.

From competitions to showcookings, from seminars to training sessions, the 2021 edition will feature a program of more than 800 events. As a star event, we highlight the Luxury Pastry in the World initiative by Iginio Massari and the numerous international championships organized by the International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate (FIPGC), as well as the World Panettone Championship promoted by the Maestri del Lievito Madre group. In addition, the SMART Label Host Innovation award, the competition open to all “innovators”, will return to the fair with a clear objective: to evaluate the level of innovation and the most intelligent solutions for companies, evaluated by a jury made up of university professionals, lecturers and national and international experts in the field of design and energy saving.
