Relais Desserts pastry chefs met in April to celebrate their annual International Meeting in Nantes. Four days of good atmosphere and the fantasy of the organizer of this 36th edition, Vincent Guerlais, who prepared a sweet and colorful program.
In the beautiful nineteenth-century Passage Pommeraye, the members of the association produced an extraordinary buffet dedicated to the “wonders of Jules Verne”, a writer originally from Nantes, who surprised everyone who passed through the shopping center.
There was also time to visit the boutique and Guerlais’s lab, as well as Christophe Roussel’s laboratory in La Baule. But let’s not forget the exciting treasure hunt throughout Nantes, a nice and fun way to discover the town, as well as the visit to the Great Elephant, a majestic steel animal, symbol of the extraordinary “Machines de l’Ile” (from the Book “The Mysterious Island”), and the fine tables along the Erdre River or along the quays at the “Cantine du Voyage”.
