Year-round Pannetone

Ana Rodríguez“Pannettone tutto l’anno” will be held in Milan’s Il Sole 24 Ore on 27 and 28 July within the framework of the Expo Milano 2015. Davide Paolini, from Gastronauta, came up with an initiative which gathers this sweet’s best Italian makers with the objective of promoting its consumption year-round, not just at Christmas time.
People attending will be able to partake in a pannetonne tasting, see how Giaocchino Acampora, head of design at Atelier Castagna, makes a 3D printing of this sweet bread, discover Rolando and Francesca Morandin’s artisan recipe with a sourdough starter, or introduce children to its elaboration alongside Marco Canevari, Chef Hours, among many other initiatives.
