One of the novelties of the next edition of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie is that there are five, instead of seven, countries that are automatically classified for the grand final, which will take place on 27 and 28 January 2019 in Sirha.

This TOP 5 has been selected based on the results of the last three editions:

1. Italy
2. Japan
3. The United States
4. South Korea
5. The United Kingdom

Although these five countries have a direct pass, they will hold national qualifiers to find the best candidates in order to obtain the top results in 2019.

France, winner of the 2017 edition, is excluded from the championship as defined in the regulations.
