Hexagonal eggs, by Enric Rovira

Chocolatier Enric Rovira’s proposals keep reminding us that chocolate has no boundaries. His new Easter eggs collection is most appealing due to the minimalist –as well as effective– concept it conveys. This is a collection of assorted eggs whose cross-sections tend to hexagons and which show six vertical edges. Besides, the eggs have been stylized and slightly lengthened compared to traditional designs. Not only the shapes are important in this collection – each unit has been embellished by being finely sprayed with colors which evoke different mountains in the world: Kilimanjaro in Kenya, Blue Mountains in Jamaica, Chocolate Hills in the Philippines, the Grand Canyon in the US or Montjuïc in Barcelona. In addition, a special model dedicated to Barcelona Football Club has been created.
