This fascinating documentary on English television from the 1960s allows us to appreciate how bread was manufactured semi-industrially, but with exceptional quality standards, in that country 70 years ago. Already at that time, large machinery was alternated with artisanal work without lacking a careful agri-food analysis of each result. It is worth spending a few minutes watching it just for the historical value of this documentary.
And for the most passionate, there is a starting point in history where you reflect on the need to get the best wheat available to make bread, which was then considered to be in Canada.
