Forest fires have razed approximately 10 million hectares in Australia since September. It is exhausting and stressful for any country to face an emergency of this magnitude. For this reason, any solidarity initiative is commendable and necessary. Within the pastry sector, we find this interesting global campaign, Desserts 4 Difference, planned for Saturday, February 8 and aimed at pastry chefs, confectioners, and dessert makers.

Participating is very simple. Any business that sells desserts can donate the income it collects on February 8 to the Australian Red Cross to help families and farmers in the area to better cope with this crisis. In addition, businesses/restaurants can also contribute by donating to support the campaign.
