The next edition of AB Tech Expo, to be held within the framework of Sigep (from 21 to 25 January 2017 in Rimini), will once again gather big brands in bread production.
The biennial international exhibition of technologies and products for bakery, pastry, and confectionery will highlight the importance of the union of the associations in the sector to meet future challenges in the baking industry. To achieve this, a comprehensive program of activities and initiatives will take place in the AB Tech Expo that the newly formed board will present. The aim is to share and strengthen this platform, useful for the development of Italian bakery worldwide.
The trade board is made up of Aibi-Assitol, Assipan, Fippa, Italmopa, Richemont Club, Sipan, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, as well as Rimini Fiera. These associations aim to promote effective consumer communication to have Italian artisan bakery acknowledged as synonymous with quality and physical wellness; highlighting bakers’ professionalism, attracting youngsters to this activity; insisting on pursuing unity of purpose between trade members; working to spread a modern enterprise culture; sharing new business models; spreading industrial innovation, and developing international business.
