New look for the Mast brothers’ chocolate shop in Brooklyn
The Mast Brothers (so good #10) have renewed the image of their Brooklyn store, which opened in 2011 and located in the neighborhood of Williamsburg in a building that once served as a spice factory and today houses various small companies.
The 280-m2 establishment now offers a clean, fresh and minimalist image, keeping in line with the philosophy of its owners, the siblings Rick and Michael. It is also more transparent, since the user can now watch them make chocolate while they are working.
Brick walls painted white, burlap bags of cocoa beans lining a wall, display cubes made of wood-fiber panels and even stainless steel tanks to make their non-alcoholic chocolate beer.
In Williamsburg, they also have a laboratory for experimentation and innovation where they test and develop new recipes.
