In his first book, Gâteaux, Mori Yoshida presents some fifty refined, simple recipes made from the heart and designed for different times of the day, from morning to night, not forgetting noon and afternoon tea time.

With photographs by Caroline Faccioli and texts in which Ryoko Sekiguchi has participated, the book is available in French in our online bookstore, Books For Chefs. In its almost 200 pages, he presents revisited French classics inspired by Japan such as the Paris-Brest with black sesame or Le Fraisier Japonais, and rediscovers vanilla flan, chocolate éclairs, raspberry and pistachio Saint-Honoré or galette des lemon roiss.

Yoshida, who won the TV show Meilleur Pâtissier: Les Professionnels in 2018, opened a namesake pastry shop in Paris in 2013 and is one of the must-visit chefs in the French capital.
