Ponthier, whose main mission is to maintain the original flavor of fruit, has created the Pure Trace® label so that gastronomy professionals can satisfy the expectations of increasingly demanding consumers, who demand transparency and information on the composition and the origin of the products.
With this label, the Maison is committed to using respectful farming methods and establishing long-term partnerships with producers to promote a natural and ethical agricultural sector.
On the one hand, “Pure” guarantees healthy fruit without pesticide residue, thanks to responsible growing methods. On the other hand, “Trace” specifies the name of the producer-gatherer and the location where it was harvested, thereby ensuring traceability so that professionals can highlight the value of their offer and satisfy users’ expectations regarding the origin of the products. Since last January 2021, 25 Ponthier benchmarks have the Pure label and 18 have the Trace label in all their forms of packaging.
