Barbara Decor, a brand of Barbara Luijckx, has just presented its catalog number 6 whose purpose is to provide inspiration that will support all Confectioner Enthusiasts’ everyday work and help them achieve spectacular results in confectionery art.

When will it be presented?

We opened another season on 16th September with the launch of a new Barbara Decor catalog. Number 6 is a symbol of diligence, curiosity, stability, and growth – the values ​​that have been so close to us since we started our family business over 31 years ago.

How many chocolate decorations and thematic groups does it contain?

In the new catalog, we have introduced more than 50 new designs of chocolate decorations, among several hundreds of patterns, divided into 19 themes and presented in an original graphic layout.

 

Are there new product ranges? Can you tell us the names and characteristics of the novelties?

Catalog No. 6 marks the premiere of two brand new designs of Filigranes®: Harmony and Inspiration. It is a technological achievement combined with a noble design. We believe they will find their way into your shops shortly. Our new offer includes a wealth of long-awaited new Art Print designs, funny Multicolor dinosaurs, Micro Blossoms, and Shavings Slim. Creators of sweet buffets will surely welcome the new cup forms: Crown, Caro, Star, and White Queen, which add finesse to sweet tables. The sixth edition of our catalog also introduces a new incarnation of chocolate roses with refined shapes and colors. What inspired you in the new collections?

The trends in decorating cakes and desserts are often the same as those in fashion and architecture. You can find many common elements, because design and trends intertwine on all levels. One of the fashion slogans for 2023 is “brown is the new black”. The color of chocolate fits perfectly in this trend. Patterns – checkered or animal patterns, textures of fabrics such as lace, transparency with elements of lines and filigree patterns… All these design elements are reflected in our decorations.
