Sachiyo Takagi was born in 1990 in Hyogo, Japan. Inspired by her father, a baker, she entered the culinary world at age 17, beginning her career as a cook at a French restaurant in Tokyo. She later gained experience at various pâtisseries and chocolateries in the city.
In 2014, she joined Calme Elan, the dessert restaurant led by Yusuke Matsushita, where she worked as a chocolatier from its opening. She then moved to Paris, serving as Chef âtissière at a two-star restaurant.
In 2018, Takagi returned to Japan after being invited to join RAU as Chef chocolatière. She has since played a key role in shaping the brand concept and developing not only chocolates but a wide range of products.
In December 2021, she launched her own brand, Sachi Takagi, expressing her philosophy and way of life through plant-based confectionery. She continues to explore new forms of sweets made entirely from plant-based ingredients.
