The popular British television show Bake Off: The Professionals is now open for applications to participate in its eleventh season.

As stated in the rules, they are looking for teams made up of two pastry chefs who work in hotels, restaurants, high-end bakeries, or who are entrepreneurs. One of them will serve as captain, who must be of senior/head pastry chef level, and another as assistant pastry chef who can be at any other professional level (e.g. sous, chef de partie, commis).

Benoit Blin, judge and pastry chef at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, encourages all those “pastry chefs who want to progress, challenge themselves and show the world that pastry is a true culinary art. What excites me the most is when a team brings us a fantastic creation that we only wished we had thought of ourselves” to register.
