Last september, Yazid Ichemrahen (whom we interviewed in so good.. magazine 34) opened At Home in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It’s a hybrid of a tasting lounge, a boutique, and a creative laboratory that reflects his personality: free, intimate, and unexpected.

The experience begins as a private tour: discovering pastries in the kitchen, sipping coffee in the living room, enjoying a sweet or savory bite at the table, all in a cozy atmosphere. Every meticulously designed detail offers a sensory experience at any time of day.

The menu evolves with the seasons, offering subtly reinterpreted Yazid classics alongside exclusive creations designed especially for this unique space. Signature creations include Rose Cherry, Alaïa, La Forêt Noire, and Latte Caramel.

Five limited-edition pastry creations are available daily to take away, presented in the display window like jewels. A signature cake or hors d’oeuvre for four to six people is offered only on weekends. This dessert, conceived as a weekly ritual, changes weekly. Pastries made with pure Isigny butter complete the experience.

The furniture plays a fundamental role in the atmosphere of the space. The design was entrusted to Pinuccio Borgonovo of the house of Galotti. Here, there is no ostentatious marble or flashy decor, but a subtle and refined aesthetic. The moldings evoke Haussmannian architecture, while the chocolate bars subtly echo the lines of Parisian ornaments.

“I conceived this apartment as a living, inhabited place, somewhat set apart. A universe that blends the spirit of At Home with the very refined, almost precise style found in my creations. Everything matters: the materials, the textures, the flavors, the atmosphere… Each room has its own story, its own ambiance. The idea is that you discover my story throughout the visit and come to understand me better,” says the chef.
