Ana RodríguezUnder the theme “Driving Innovation, Connecting the World, Building the Future,” the latest edition of Bakery China gathered more than 2,200 exhibitors who showcased over 10,000 innovations in ingredient technologies, intelligent baking systems, health-oriented formulations, eco-friendly packaging solutions, and digital tools for business transformation.
The fair, held from May 19 to 22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, featured interactive demonstrations of “real-life scenarios,” including AI-enabled automated production lines, live tastings of low-glycemic baked goods, and augmented reality (AR) baking experiences.
To promote cultural exchange through specialty ingredients, traditional techniques, and East-West culinary fusion, Bakery China also launched its flagship Belt and Road Bakery Corridor. The exhibition attracted professional buyers from over 130 countries and regions, facilitating over 3,000 business networking sessions.
