On October 18, the Taiwanese team (I-Chun Lai, Yueh-Chun Tsai, Shih-Chun Yang, and Giovanna Shih-Chieh Chen as team manager) was proclaimed the winner of the team competition of the 2025 Panettone World Championship at Host Milano. Argentina finished second, and Australia third.

Organized by the Accademia dei Maestri del Lievito Madre e del Panettone Italiano, chaired by Claudio Gatti, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, the event featured nine national teams from four continents: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Japan, Spain, Peru, and Taiwan.

In this second edition of the competition, the teams had to create up to seven different products. Among them were, for example, a panettone from the region featuring native ingredients, a lievito flower, a special presentation, and a pairing with ice cream. All of this revolved around the theme of “fashion culture in Milan.”

The jury awarded the following prizes:

• Classic Italian panettone: 1st Taiwan; 2nd Australia; 3rd Argentina
• Chocolate panettone: 1st Taiwan; 2nd Brazil; 3rd Argentina
• Innovative ice cream panettone: 1st Australia; 2nd Argentina; 3rd Taiwan
