Entries open for the 2025 Gourmet Coffee World Championship

Ana RodríguezLe Mondial du Café Gourmand (The Gourmet Coffee World Championship), organized by Régis Mascot and Stéphane Henrio, will be held on November 10th as part of the 21st edition of The Chocolate & Pastry Fair in Vannes.
This international competition, which aims to elevate gourmet coffee, is open to those who are 20 years of age and older from around the world with a minimum of two years’ experience in the food industry. The deadline for entries is September 1st, as stipulated in the rules.
Under the theme of Fauna and Flora, the 12 selected applicants will present ten dishes, each with four creations: a chocolate dessert, a vanilla dessert, a choux pastry dessert, and a crunchy dessert made with white almond powder and shelled green pistachios. Each candidate will also prepare two plates of 12 cookies for the public.
A professional jury, after evaluating the work carried out in the atelier, hygiene, presentation, tasting, and dossier, will award a first prize valued at 2,000 euros, a second prize with a check for 1,000 euros, and a third prize with a check for 500 euros.
