Tejasvi Chandela expands in Jaipur and opens a second Dzurt

On October 11, Tejasvi Chandela opened a new Dzurt store at Horizon Tower, Jewel of India, JLN Marg, Malviya Nagar. More than a pastry shop, this new space offers a sensorial experience where each dessert is a blend of craftsmanship, design, and emotion.

Tejasvi (one of the features in so good.. magazine 30) founded Dzurt in 2013, the first pastry shop in her hometown of Jaipur, where she combines traditional Indian techniques and flavors with modern European-style pastries. Now, the chef is opening this second outlet, bringing together a pastry shop, an ice cream parlor, and a café under one roof, while maintaining the philosophy of the original business.

Designed by Marie-Anne Oudejans, the space reflects Jaipur’s cultural richness through a cosmopolitan lens. Known for her work in the city’s most iconic destinations, Marie-Anne has created a narrative that combines local motifs, architectural heritage, and global refinement.

“From the very beginning, our aim has been to honor heritage while embracing the new—in both flavor and form. The design aesthetics of the new space capture the soul of Jaipur, making it feel more intimate and contemporary,” says Tejasvi Chandela.

“Every creation at Dzurt is rooted in thoughtful craftsmanship — a contemporary interpretation of European classics, with occasional Indian pairings that add warmth, nostalgia, and surprise. Dzurt has always been about more than desserts; it’s fueled by emotions — crafted to evoke the same joy, nostalgia, and warmth you feel when indulging in your favorite flavors. With this new space, my hope is that what we make brings not only delight, but also a quiet touch of grace to every celebration,” adds.
