This are one of the challenges every of the 15 finalists must face during this past edition, held in NY City last March 3 and organized as always by Paris Gourmet Company. Ben Shelton from Pre Gel America became Pastry Chef of the Year, leaving Sandro Micheli (Restaurant Daniel, NY) and Maura Metheny (Norman Love Confections, FL) in the second and third place respectively.
