The Taipei Int’l Bakery Show (TIBS) 2017, held in April at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall (TWTC Nangang), welcomed 157,398 visitors (6,589 more than the previous edition), 410 exhibitors (+127) And 1,560 booths (+336). Data which confirms the great evolution of this fair, now a benchmark of Asian bakery.

So Good’s team was at the fair once again, enjoying the atmosphere, the great product offerings presented by the exhibitors, and two important competitions: the Asian Pastry Cup-Taiwan selection and UIBC Junior World Pastry Championship.

The 2017 Asian Pastry Cup-Taiwan Selection, which serves to classify the representatives of Taiwan in the Asian Pastry Cup (the Continental selection for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie), awarded Chen Jian-You in the category of artistic chocolate, Lin Jeng-Sheng (first runner-up), and Hung Wei-Shiuan (second runner-up), and in artistic sugar Chen Shih-Yu (first runner-up), leaving the winning place vacant.

Meanwhile, the 2017 UIBC Junior World Pastry Championship gathered young confectioners from all over Taiwan. The winner, Jian Ru-Yi, will go to Munich for the UIBC Junior World Pastry Championship “under 25” Final.
