Once the European qualifiers for the C3 International Dessert Competition have finished, we now know the names of the candidates that will be participating in New York in October in the grand final.

A professional jury chosen by Valrhona, after evaluating parameters such as the originality of recipes, taste, flavor associations, respect for the competition’s theme, and aesthetics, have chosen the finalists: Fredrik Borgskog, from the Upper House and Gothia Towers, who will represent the Scandinavia region; Benjamin Kunert, from Atlantis by Giardino, as the United Kingdom and Switzerland candidate; Nicola Dobnik, from the restaurant Del Cambio, who will represent Italy; Andrea Dopico, from the restaurant Moments, representing Spain; and Damien Gendron from Grand Hotel Cap-Ferrat, representing France.

Two more names must be mentioned: Yusuke Aoki, from the Ritz Carlton in the Middle East region, and Nicolas Blouin, of the Rosewood Mansion (Dallas, Texas), from the North American region.
