The dynamic school directed by Kirsten Tibballs (one of the protagonists of the new so good #15), Savour Chocolate & Patisserie (Melbourne), has proposed itself to find the Patissier of the Year in Australia. For it, an exciting new contest to be held next May (22-24) has been organized within the framework of the salon Foodservice Australia 2016 (Sydney).

The competition is divided into four categories: Tarts, Éclairs, Entremets and Macaroons, and contestants can participate only in one or in each of the four. The overall winner and therefore Patissier of the Year will be the one contestant whose score adds more points in total, so those who participate in more categories have more options. The award amounts to AUS $ 20,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to the aforementioned title for the overall winner, it will also reward the winner of each category.

Candidates may bring their pre-elaborated creations and fill them in and decorate them in the competition arena, and will be judged by a jury of internationally renowned chefs such as Kirsten Tibballs herself, Paul Kennedy, Christophe Adam (so good #5, so good #13), Julien Álvarez (so good #8, so good #15) and Jordi Bordas.
