On April 11, the final of the Best Apprentice Pastry Chef competition was held in CEPROC, which this year’s proposed theme was painting.

20 applicants from all over France competed for the title that Corentin Poirier-Martinet the candidate from the Île-de-France region, EPB student in Paris and apprenticed to the MOF Laurent Duchene, won. His buffet, dedicated to street art unanimously convinced the jury formed by great pastry professionals such as Joël Delouet, Thierry Bamas, and Jérôme Chauchesse, among others, due to his originality and technical aspects.

Corentin was not the only young talent who won that day. Damien Farge placed second, Lola Gourgon came in third, and Noémie Brisson won the tasting award.
