Mondial des Arts Sucrés
The Japanese pastry pair Kenki Katsuma and Rie Tanimichi imposed themselves with force in the second edition of the Mondial des Arts Sucrés, held in Paris in the setting of Europain. Following this team were the young French pair from the Maison Pic, Audrey Gellet and Franck Wenz, who suffered the disadvantage of losing the sugar figure just when they were transferring it to the final buffet. Despite this incident, the two pastry chefs ruled with authority over the rest of the participating countries, leaving in third place the Ucranian team formed by Alla Belussova and Igor Zaritski.
